That old deck is pulling away from the house. Let's look at it.
Free safety inspection. Clear quote on repair vs. replacement. No pressure tactics. Most decks built in Utah before 2010 need to come down.
Decks built before the early 2010s in Utah were almost all pressure-treated lumber on under-engineered framing. Add a decade of UV, snow loads, and freeze-thaw and they start to pull away from the house. The ledger board fails first. The railings get wobbly. Boards splinter under bare feet. By the time you notice, the structure is almost always past repair. We come out, walk the deck, photograph the failure points, and give you two honest paths: repair what we can, or tear it down and build something that will outlast the next thirty winters.
Jake walks the deck, photographs failure points, and tells you what he finds. No charge.
Repair what we can, or full replacement. We tell you which makes sense for your deck.
We haul the old structure away. Site cleaned daily. You don't deal with the debris.
Every job, every time.

Common questions about this build.
What is your payment schedule?+
A deposit at contract signing, a progress payment when the substructure is approved by inspection, and final payment on completion. We never ask for the full price upfront.
How long does a deck take to build?+
Most decks finish in 5 to 10 working days. Larger outdoor rooms with pergolas and lighting can run 10 to 15 days.
Do you handle the building permit?+
Yes. We pull every permit and schedule every inspection. You don't talk to the city.
How long does a Trex deck last in Utah?+
A properly installed Trex deck lasts 25 to 50 years in Utah weather. The warranty backs that up. By contrast, pressure-treated wood typically needs replacement at the 10 to 15 year mark in our freeze-thaw climate.
"We absolutely love our new deck! Jake and his crew were so easy to work with because they are knowledgeable and professional. We started out small but decided to go big! There were no surprises and it was done in just over a week, several days before the deadline we had given them."
