Park City is its own thing. The decks we build here are engineered for snow loads two to three times higher than the valley. The aesthetics lean rustic or modern-mountain, almost never traditional. HOAs in Promontory, Glenwild, and Deer Valley have strict material and stain approval processes that take longer than the actual build. We have done jobs in all of them and we know what gets approved fast. We use Trex Transcend for most Park City decks because it holds up to mountain UV better than wood and matches the rustic palette the HOAs want.

How long does a Trex deck last in Utah?+
A properly installed Trex deck lasts 25 to 50 years in Utah weather. The warranty backs that up. By contrast, pressure-treated wood typically needs replacement at the 10 to 15 year mark in our freeze-thaw climate.
How long does a deck take to build?+
Most decks finish in 5 to 10 working days. Larger outdoor rooms with pergolas and lighting can run 10 to 15 days.
