We hired Jake to tear out and rebuild our deck. Over the two weeks we watched him rebuild our deck, we were so impressed with his attention to detail and doing things right. For example, we had Rainscape installed under the deck so we could use the patio underneath during a rainstorm. Jake was almost obsessed with ensuring not a drop of water leaked anywhere at any seam, from the ledger board out to the end of the deck. I joked with him that we would have to have a hurricane to have the same level of water he was testing with. But he wasn’t satisfied until nothing leaked. As for the framing and construction itself I couldn’t be happier. He would explain how he did certain things that enhanced the strength and durability of the design that some other builders don’t do. I could see that our previous deck had not been done with such quality as Jake put into our new one. Everyone who has seen our new deck has been completely impressed with it and we have given out several of his cards because friends were interested in contacting him for work.

My wife and I grew to admire and respect Jake for his work ethic, his workmanship, his integrity, and his desire to succeed by doing the right thing for his customers by building his business on good reputation and recommendations. We need more contractors like Jake!
